Why Starbucks Coffee Company Starbucks called?

I read somewhere it has to do with the person named Starbuck Moby Dick, but still not much more .. can someone please explain? oh noo .. Im confuused everyone has different answers. Now, what to believe? Haha:)

Starbuck was a character in the novel Moby Dick. No coffee, as some have suggested – the connection is a little darker than that. Moby Dick was based on the real life story of a sperm whale Mocha Dick White found near the island of Mocha, Chile, in early 1800. Moka is, of course, a variety of coffee beans, although this name is derived from the port city Mocha, Yemen, instead of Isla Mocha. Mocha, Yemen is famous for being the primary market for the world to have a coffee in the 15th century to the 17th century. So the relationship between Moby Dick and coffee. As others have noted, the name Starbucks was chosen because Pequod – the name of the ship in Moby Dick – was rejected.
